Music

My love for music is....amazing. I listen and play music all of the time. I am either playing a song on the piano or flute, listening to music on the computer (Spotify, Pandora) or the radio, I sing music in church, or I either have a song stuck in my head. I always have to have some sort of music playing while I am cleaning my room or packing for trips. When I am home alone, I have Spotify turned all of the way up, so I can sing loudly along with the songs. =) When I am on the computer, I have Pandora or Spotify on.

So, I have a lot of favorite songs.

Trip to Utah

Hey everyone! Sorry, it has been a while since I have posted anything. I was in Utah for 2 weeks! It was so fun! Here are pictures from the first couple of days.

Dad needed a nap...on the floor.

A few days later, Becky, my mom, Camden, Jaelyn and I went to the Aquarium. It was so cool!!
I go to say hi to Nemo =]
What are those??

Nemo and his dad at their house, in real life!
 That eel was so scary
We went to visit Cathy =] JK! We didn't =[ I wish
So there was this bridge we crossed on. It was like one story in the air. It was pure rope. SO SCARY!
 We saw penguins
The next day was the 4th of July! So, for the first time in my life, I got a pedicure!
Guess who's feet is who? =]

Pretty :)
 We went swimming

The next week, I went to a basketball camp at BYU. It was so fun!!
In the cafeteria, they have a whole section of cookies, brownies, waffles, donuts, etc., so for breakfast one morning, I had two donuts. Yes. It wasn't the best idea. It was so tempting!!! It didn't do good for the rest of the morning, because, you know, I was running around and all playing basketball.
Anyways, our lunch and dinner breaks are 2 hours long! So I usually came back to the main gym to watch the BYU women's basketball team play.
And the BYU womens volleyball team.
We went to Seven Peaks Water park for fun. The whole camp went.
For dinner, we had pizza and cookies. Below is the water park.
What really made the evening....not worth it was that it started raining. A big thunder storm blew through. In the fist ten minutes I get there with my friends, we go in the wave pool. It starts to rain. So we had to get out. I had to take a picture, it looked cool. =]
We are all wet and its raining dogs and cats out. But we mainly had to get out because the life guards saw lightning. And if we didn't see lightning for more than 30 minutes, we were allowed to go in. So everyone is sitting around for 30 minutes in the cold. It felt like forever. It was a fun experience to sit forever, because everyone was building tent things with their rafts. A group of boys that were at the BYU camp for tennis were near my friends and I. They entertained us for 30 minutes. ;)
Then we hear an announcement that the park is closed. So EVERYONE had to leave. It was CHAOTIC!!! Basically, we were there for less than 45 minutes. So the buses that took us to the park weren't going to be back until 8:00. We were supposed to be there from 4-8. So its around 5:00. Its raining cats and dogs. We had to stand there for 2 and a half hours waiting for the buses! It was sooo cold! In my opinion, it was fun waiting for the buses. We sang a bunch of church songs, (since it is BYU) us girls sang girls camp songs, (woot woot) and we listened to jokes from this counselor that was there. For the most part it was fun, in a different way than we all expected. =]
So the buses get there, and we drive back to campus. Another doosey. The keys to our dorms don't work anymore. Let me tell you another story:
My counselor for my floor went on a run around the track while us girls were at lunch. She leaves her purse on a chair in the gym. (The track goes around the gym) And apparently a Hispanic, Mexican guy took the purse. In her purse was her iPhone, the master key to ALL of the dorms in Chipman Halls, my hall, and her wallet and everything. So they had to replace all of the doorknobs while we were at basketball and the water park, because the dude who stole the purse had access to our dorms. So we get back and we are all in our wet swimsuits and our towels that are also wet and cold, and we find out we can't get into our dorms to change and all. So we had to go to the Cannon Center, where the main office is, to get our new keys. It was so crowded in there. We had to wait in there for a little over an hour. That felt like forever, and it was boring. Everyone was already mad about the water park thing, and now this. So everyone is just mad and moody. It took forever to get my key. And once I did, I was able to go back to my dorm. When my roommate and I walked out of the building, the sun literally shone only on the BYU campus. It was beautiful. It was special too. I got a little emotional because of how happy it made me feel and how gorgeous it was. Everyone around me just got really happy and I'm pretty sure they all got a little emotional. I know it was just the sun peeking out behind the clouds, but all that has happened to us with the water park and the key/dorm problem, it seemed like the spirit came and made everyone happy. It made my day. The sun being so pretty behind the clouds and shining only on BYU, it really made my day.

So we finally get to our dorms. (BTW my room mate was Lily Ford:) We go down to the vending machine and buy a bunch of junk and we hang out in our dorm with another friend that is also in my stake. This is what I got:

This was my freakin' amazing team. Our team name was Hash-tag Team Ellite or in other terms #teamellite

Coach Alogi....we couldin't remember Alogi so we called her Aloha. She is from Hawaii =]
And my other coach Amanda. I had two coaches.

I had such a fun time!!
Becky and me =]
Next week I'm going to Girls Camp!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! I am so excited!!! =D

'Til next time!
